T211.0 "Prasátko" H0 Chassis Kit – Coreless Motor
This chassis is developed for etched T211.0 (H0) models from DK-model and Hekttor, or for the 3D-printed kit from Locolab. Installation into resin casts is possible with individual modifications.
Building the chassis yourself brings not only the joy of the finished result but also a deeper understanding of the machine's mechanics. Instead of buying a ready-made product, you get the opportunity to assemble the model with your own hands, exactly as you want it. Building from prepared parts gives you full control over its performance, a new experience, and the certainty that your "Prasátko" (Little Pig) will run exactly according to your expectations.
A friendly introduction to etched kits. The design is forgiving and easy to follow. A perfect first project to build your confidence without the stress.
Key Advantages:
- Compact Design: The chassis is designed to be low-profile and space-efficient with a wheelbase of 32.2 mm (2800 mm in prototype), leaving plenty of room inside the model body.
- Reliable Drive: A powerful coreless RIC motor drives both axles.
- Stable Power Pickup: One of the axles is designed as a rocker axle (floating), ensuring constant contact with the rails even on uneven trackwork.
Kit Contents:
- Frame and Mechanics: Etched nickel silver (alpaca) frame, brass bushings, and steel shafts.
- Gears: A set of M0.3 plastic gears for quiet operation.
- Drive: Coreless RIC 1220 motor.
- Wheelset: Insulated LUCK wheels 11.4 mm (NEM311/RP25).
- Pickups: Etched 0.1 mm bronze power pickups, plastic screws, and washers for insulation.
Build Difficulty:
This kit is also suitable for beginning modelers. It requires basic skills in working with etched parts and gearbox assembly (pressing gears and worms onto shafts).
