Stainless Steel Pantograph Kits Type 4 PP & 16 PP H0
Take your electric locomotives to a new level of detail and durability. Our pantograph kits, Types 4 PP and 16 PP (ideal for the legendary E499.0 "Bobina"), offer a unique engineering solution. Instead of common bent wires or soft etched parts, we use laser-cut stainless steel components.
Thanks to the stainless steel construction, the collector arms and contact strips maintain exceptional shape stability even with minimal cross-sections. Edges can be finely refined with a diamond file if needed. Despite the use of stainless steel, the kit is fully solderable—simply use standard solder in combination with a stainless steel soldering flux.
Available Variants:
- Type 4 PP: For locomotives from the 1950s and 60s (e.g., early versions of E499.0).
- Type 16 PP: For machines from the late 1960s onwards.
Kit Contents (for 2 pantographs):
- Base etching made of nickel silver (0.3 mm).
- Main arms and contact strips made of laser-cut stainless steel.
- Stainless steel springs for functional contact pressure.
Kit Price (for a set of 2): 1,080 CZK
