UNIMOT – Universal Adjustable H0 Chassis Kit (54.0 - 74.7 mm)

UNIMOT is a universal chassis kit designed for a wide range of two-axle railcars, primarily from Era II and III. Its main advantage is the adjustable wheelbase ranging from 54.0 to 74.7 mm (4700 to 6500 mm prototypes). The chassis frame features etched markings and numbering, making it easy to precisely shorten and drill holes for specific railcar types, but can be set to any wheelbase within the range.

The chassis is sought after as the ideal drive for Škoda (M130.1) models produced by berka.biz. It is highly recommended for the following kits:

Main Technical Features:

  • Extreme Versatility: Easy wheelbase adjustment using pre-prepared markings on the etched frame.
  • Superior Running Qualities: Suspended axle gearboxes and one rocker axle (floating) ensure perfect contact with the track at all times.
  • High-End Drive: Coreless RIC 1020 motor with flywheel and ALS cardan shafts.

Kit Contents:

  • Mechanics: Etched frame and gearboxes (nickel silver/alpaca), brass bushings, steel shafts, and bronze washers.
  • Gearing: Brass worms and ALS Racing plastic gears.
  • Power Pickups: Made from spring bronze, with an insulated frame design.
  • Wheelsets (Optional): RP25 (ø 9.7 / 10.4 / 11.4 mm) or NEM311 (ø 11.4 mm).

Build Difficulty:
Assembly requires experience in soldering etched parts and precise gearbox assembly (pressing gears and worms onto shafts).
