The chassis kit for the steam locomotive Class 310.0 (III. production series) represents the flagship of our offer. These iconic locomotives originally served as Class 97 kkStB, and after 1918, they continued their service under both ČSD (Class 310.0) and ÖBB (later designated as Class 89.2). The kit is designed like a "clockwork" mechanism—faithfully following the scaled-down dimensions of the original while offering extraordinary durability. Its quality has been proven through demanding operation at club exhibitions, where it serves as a reliable and tireless workhorse.

This chassis is developed for the III. series locomotives in combination with the etched kit from MetalModel (Igor Zahrádka) or for the 3D-printed kit from LocoLab. Due to the high level of detail and small dimensions, this build is intended for experienced modelers with precise soldering skills.

A real engineering challenge. It’s delicate work with no room for error, but with a bit of patience, you'll get it done—and end up with a masterpiece to be proud of.

Kit Contents:

• Frame: 0.3 mm nickel silver (alpaca) etchings and brass laser-cut gearbox parts.
• Drive: Coreless RIC 1020 motor with flywheel, M0.3 plastic gears.
• Power Pickup: 0.1 mm spring bronze wipers.
• Details: Vacuum brake cylinder and one type of air brake cylinder.

Build Difficulty:
This kit is intended for advanced builders. It requires working with a magnifying glass and experience in soldering tiny parts with minimal amounts of tin. Critical parts are duplicated on the etching sheet.

Important Notice:
The kit does not include cylinder blocks, wheel centers, or buffers. For assembly, brass profiles are required (ø 0.5, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.83, and 3.0 mm).
